ABOUT ME

Hi y'all! My name is Paige and I’m a 24-year-old GVSU aluma that was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. I’m a creative junkie who loves dogs, travel, Jesus, and the lake. 

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been attached to a camera. I recall making my friends in elementary and middle school pose for me during silly photoshoots and act for a cooking show to cut together via iMovie—which I then burned into a CD and still own. My love for the arts continued to grow which led me to pursue a degree in Film & Video Production and Photography from Grand Valley State University (go Lakers!). I focused my style on documentary and became passionate about storytelling which is now prevalent in my wedding films today. I love being able to record all of the dainty details as well as the monumental moments.

After a few years of doing photography and videography as a ‘side gig’, I finally decided that it was time to finally put a label on it–which is when Paige Metcalf Creative was born! January 2024 I was officially registered as a business and I’ve been rockin’ ever since.

Through these years of becoming an artistic hustler, I’ve found a community of like minded individuals to surround myself with. We bounce ideas and push each other to further our craft as well as find fellowship with likeminded beings through the ebb and flow of art. My work is ever-progressing as it continues to be polished with time and critique. More than anything, I want to create a connection with those I get to work with and for, have fun, and make art.
