Hi y'all! My name is Paige and I’m a 23-year-old GVSU aluma that was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. I’m a creative junkie who loves dogs, travel, Jesus, and the lake. 

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been attached to a camera. I recall making my friends in elementary and middle school pose for me during silly photoshoots and act for a cooking show to cut together via iMovie—which I then burned into a CD and still own. My love for the arts continued to grow which led me to pursue a degree in Film & Video Production and Photography from Grand Valley State University (go Lakers!). I focused my style on documentary and became passionate about storytelling which is now prevalent in my wedding films today. I love being able to record all of the dainty details as well as the monumental moments.

As a teenager looking for a summer job, I stumbled into a flower shop five minutes from my parents’ house to ask for an application. I started working there in 2018 as a junior in high school and have yet to leave. With my background in photography, arranging and color selection came easy to me. I started branching out on my own to do event floral on a bigger scale leading me to showcase my work at weddings, bridal and engagement showers, parties, and everything in between. 

After a few years of doing photography, videography, and floral as a ‘side gig’, I finally decided that it was time to finally put a label on it–which is when Paige Metcalf Creative was born! January 2024 I was officially registered as a business and I’ve been rockin’ ever since.

Through these years of becoming an artistic hustler, I’ve found a community of like minded individuals to surround myself with. We bounce ideas and push each other to further our craft as well as find fellowship with likeminded beings through the ebb and flow of art. My work is ever-progressing as it continues to be polished with time and critique. More than anything, I want to create a connection with those I get to work with and for, have fun, and make art.
